INGREDIENTS

 Cleansa

INGREDIENT NAME
KNOWN BENEFITS
CLEANSA HERBS
These Herbs are found in Cleansa
Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) bark
It has long been known that the bitter constituents of wormwood stimulate the gustatory nerves in the mouth and increase the secretion of gastric juice and bile, thereby promoting appetite and digestion
Psyllium (Plantago psyllium) husk
Psyllium is classified as a mucilaginous fiber due to its powerful ability to form a gel in water. This bulking fiber acts as a sponge, absorbing water and waste material in the bowels. Psyllium husks significantly increase the level of stool moisture and both wet/ dry stool weight, this is why it has such great effect at relieving constipation and improving bowel health.
Cascara (Cascara sagrada) bark
The dried bark of cascara has been used for centuries as a laxative, first by Native Americans in the Pacific Northwest, and then by European/U.S. colonizers. The chemicals primarily responsible for the laxative action are the hydroxyanthracene glycosides, and emodin.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) seed
Studies have shown Fennel to reduce intestinal spasms and colic in infants. It also acts as a diuretic so useful for removing acid build-up from the body.
Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) bark
The demulcent mucilage of Slippery elm provides a protective, anti-inflammatory, and healing coating to mucous membrane surfaces. It reduces inflammation and irritation.
Wild Yam (Discorea villosa) Root
7-keto DHEA is produced from Wild Yam extract, diosgenin. Beneficial effects seem plausible in women with several conditions according to the results of double-blind placebo-controlled trials: the dose of 30 to 50 mg seems beneficial to the mood, sense of well-being and sexual desire and activity of women with adrenal insufficiency.

INGREDIENT NAME
KNOWN BENEFITS
SATISFED HERBS
These Herbs are found in Satsifed and BodiTune
Caralluma (Caralluma fimbriata)
In Western India, Caralluma Fimbriata is well known as a famine food, appetite suppressant, and thirst quencher. The green follicles are eaten, boiled, and salted. It also finds use today as an appetite suppressant and famine food during times of famine, in the semi-arid regions of India.
Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre)
The atomic arrangements of gymnemic acids to the taste buds are similar to sugar molecules which fill the receptors in the taste buds preventing its activation by the sugar molecule in the food. This effectively reduces the craving for sugary foods.
Coleus forskohlii (Plectranthus barbatus)
Limited human studies have indicated that supplementation with Coleus forskohlii extract elicits favorable changes to body composition. One study found a significant reduction of body fat percentage in overweight and obese men after 12 weeks of supplementation with Coleus forskohlii extract.
Chromium polynicotinate
Chromium polynicotinate is formed when chromium is bound to vitamin B3Chromium polynicotinate molecules. Because Vitamin B3 plays a role in stabilizing blood sugar, this combination makes a useful, safe and readily available form of chromium for improving conditions of blood sugar imbalance.

Thermogenik

INGREDIENT NAME
KNOWN BENEFITS
THERMOGENIK HERBS
These Herbs are found in Thermogenik and BodiTune
Black pepper (Piper nigrum)
In addition to its culinary uses, pepper has important medicinal and preservative properties, and, more recently, black pepper extract (piperine) has been shown to have fundamental effects on many enzyme systems. One study showed results suggesting that piperine possesses potential fat-reducing and lipid-lowering effects.
Guarana (Puallinia cupana) fruit
Considerable evidence from studies in humans supports the hypothesis that coffee consumption induces weight loss by increasing thermogenesis. Findings suggest that caffeine could help individuals lose weight by reducing body fat, possibly by increasing lipid metabolism.
Bitter orange (Citrus aurantium) peel
Citrus aurantium extract and its primary proto alkaloidal constituent p-synephrine are extensively used in weight management products and as thermogenic agents.
Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) leaf
Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese. Researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for its fat-burning effect.
Garcinia cambogia (Hydroxycitrate complex)
In extensive animal studies, Garcinia cambogia was found to reduce food intake by suppressing the appetite thus decreasing body fat. Some double-blind studies using Garcinia cambogia and a placebo showed the HCA group as doubling or tripling weight loss over a 12-week period as compared to the control group.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) rhizome
Four clinical studies reported that ginger reduced platelet aggregation, which is responsible for blood coagulation. Ginger is included in this formulation mainly for its ability to improve circulation, enhancing the effects of the other herbs.
Cayenne (Capsicum annum) fruit
Capsaicin consumption 1 hour before low-intensity exercise is a valuable supplement for the treatment of individuals with hyperlipidemia and/or obesity because it improves fat burning. Capsinoid ingestion increases energy expenditure through the activation of brown adipose tissue in humans.

Xtrafood

INGREDIENT NAME
KNOWN BENEFITS
XTRAFOOD HERBS
These Herbs are found in Xtrafood and BodiTune
Barley grass (Hordeum vulgare) leaf
Barley Grass is a type of green grass and the only vegetation on the earth that can supply sole nutritional support from birth to old age. It contains a wide spectrum of vitamins, minerals, as well as eight essential amino acids that we must get from our diets.
Kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera)
Kelps have high levels of iodine, and salts that include kelp powder are available commercially as a source of this vital nutrient. (3) Macrocystis has an elaborate iodine metabolism which is why dietary supplementation with kelp significantly increases Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. (1,2) This is the hormone responsible for increasing metabolic rate via the thyroid gland.
Beetroot (Beta vulgaris-cicla)
Both the juice and food are also rich in betalain compounds which are categorized as betacyanins. These are responsible for the red/violet color of red Beetroot. Betalains are water-soluble phytochemicals that have been shown to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and chemopreventive activities. A recent study has shown that Beetroot juice protects against chemically induced Liver injury.
Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) leaf
Medicago sativa has long been used as traditional herbal medicine in China, Iraq, Turkey, India, and America for the treatment of a variety of ailments. It contains a broad range of nutrients including saponins, flavonoids, phytoestrogens, coumarins, alkaloids, amino acids, phytosterols, vitamins, digestive enzymes, and terpenes
Spirulina (Spirulina platensis)
Spirulina contains up to 70 % of easily digestible protein with an amino acid profile that compares with eggs. It contains all of the essential amino acids (EAA) that humans cannot synthesize and must obtain from foods.
White Kidney Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)
We use the active ingredient called ‘Phase 2’ which is a water extract of the white kidney bean. Ten clinical studies have demonstrated weight loss over time following administration of Phase 2. Three studies demonstrated significant loss of body weight with Phase 2 compared to a placebo control in people who are overweight or obese.
